Kishor Palash is a prominent Bangladeshi folk singer, songwriter, and performer known for reviving traditional folk music among younger audiences. Kishor Palash was born on 30 December 1988 in Bangladesh. He grew up in a culturally inclined family where music played an important role. His father was a singer and became one of his earliest inspirations. From childhood, Palash developed a strong interest in singing and playing musical instruments, which eventually led him toward a professional music career.

His professional breakthrough came in 2012 with the mixed album Ek Jora. The album featured the song Bhanga Tori Chera Pal, which quickly gained popularity and introduced him to a national audience.
